Near the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66, however, shopping and dining abounds with the downtown waterfront peppered by independent cafes and quick-serve restaurants. These services offer either private or shared service. The cruise lines themselves are happy to give you a ride to the port, for a charge. For instance, Carnival offers a round-trip ride for $35 per person, each way. So a couple traveling together would pay around $70 to get to the ship and $140 for a round trip. Today, the Port provides clean shore power at two cruise berths at Terminal 91 and is exploring opportunities to further expand access to shore power, including at Pier 66.

The parking fees are approximately $25 (cars) to $65 (over-sized vehicles) per day which is relatively high compared to the other cruise ports. Online pre-pay parking is available at both facilities. All parking facilities are convenient, secure and patrolled 24 hours a day. Passenger and luggage drop-off is available in front of the terminal or in the parking facility. Parking is $17.00 per day, including the day of arrival and day of departure. American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards are accepted.

Both Pier 66 and Pier 91 have parking lots available to passengers with more than a thousand spaces each. Passengers can park in the Bell Street Pier Garage, which is across the street from Pier 66, or there is a parking lot right across from Pier 91 just a little farther north. Both Uber and Lyft operate in Seattle, providing a convenient way for people to get from the airport, hotel, — or anywhere else — to the cruise port. The ride-share services will cost an estimated $65-80 from the airport to the cruise terminals. Norwegian Cruise Line is the innovator in cruise travel with a 51-year history of breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising. This regulation has significantly reduced sulfur emissions and air-quality related human health impacts.

At over 168,000 gross tons and a capacity of 4,004, double occupancy, Norwegian Bliss is the largest cruise vessel on the west coast and was built especially for the Alaska cruise market. The Port of Seattle has two piers — Pier 66 and Pier 91. They are located about three miles from each other. First, your cruise line will let you know where to arrive, but the rule of thumb is that if you are sailing on Norwegian or Oceania, then you’ll head to Pier 66.

The ride will take about minutes to get to the ship from the airport. If you are coming from Boston’s Logan International Airport you will need to pick up an SL 1 bus at one of Logan’s four passenger terminals. Here you’re right next to a park and main thoroughfares that than get you to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, and more. The walk to the port will only take about 20 minutes and is less than a mile. In addition to clean and comfy rooms, wi-fi and breakfast is also included.
